The Alpenhof offers its 30 guests a pleasant, relaxing stay in a sunny location. Since there is no through traffic, there is complete peace at night. The Hintersee forms the end of the Ramsau Valley and is one of the most beautiful areas in Berchtesgaden.

Markt Berchtesgaden

The largely historic town centre of Berchtesgaden - the "Markt" - offers not only the extensive pedestrian zone with its many shops, restaurants and cafés, but also the spacious spa park, which invites you to relax after a stroll through the market.

Jenner cable car

With breathtaking views, the Jennerbahn cable car attracts numerous visitors to the mountain every day. Whether you park your car in the large car park in front of the cable car or arrive by bus - the comfortable ride in the cable car is worthwhile for everyone. In both summer and winter, athletes and hikers can enjoy the slopes and alpine pastures to the full.

Berchtesgaden Salt Mine

The Berchtesgaden Salt Mine, which is easily accessible by any means of transport, promises both a modern underground experience and the opportunity to experience the historically exciting tradition of mining. The entrance into the tunnel on the visitor mine train is a highlight of the tour, and not just for families with children. A raft ride across the underground Spiegelsee and two wooden slides make the visit an adventure.

King´s Lake

Framed by the Berchtesgaden Alps, the Königssee is idyllically situated and delights visitors with its vibrant colors. The highlight for visitors is the thirty-minute drive to the St. Bartholomew peninsula. Not only the pilgrimage church of St. Bartholomew or the impressive view of the Watzmann east face are worthwhile there, but also a visit to the royal hunting lodge, which is used as a restaurant.

Eagle´s Nest & Obersalzberg

As a well-known historical vantage point, the Eagle´s Nest stands at 1834 m above the Königssee and offers a far-reaching panoramic view of the Berchtesgaden Alps. Just a few meters from the Kehlstein summit, the house is used as a mountain inn in the summer. The Obersalzberg Documentation Center is considered a place of learning and remembrance for the history of the Nazi era and provides interested parties with scientifically proven information.

Watzmann Thermal Spring

An extraordinary and worthwhile place for relaxation and fun for young and old can be found in the Watzmann Thermal Spring. In addition to a sports pool, an adventure pool and a flow channel, there is an 80-meter slide with light effects. The spacious and modern sauna area offers an oasis of relaxation with a view of the Berchtesgaden mountains outside.
