Our guesthouse "Alpenhof" is in a fantastic location directly on the banks of the beautiful Hintersee and at the entrance to the Berchtesgaden National Park and Zauberwald.

 

The Hintersee was already visited by famous painters in the 19th century. You can admire their picture panels on the new circular hiking trail around the lake. Anglers can fish in the Hintersee, which is one of the few salmonid lakes in Germany.
